Agricom.id, JAKARTA - Ministry of Agriculture Indonesian Republic through General Directorate of Agriculture Infrastructure would boost the productivity in 2021 by preparing 34.356 units.

They consist of 3.000 units of cultivator; 17.800 units of hand sprayer; 7.000 units of water pump; 360 units of rice trans-planter; 5.596 units of two – wheel tractor, and 600 units of four – vehicle tractor.

Minister of Agriculture, Syahrul Yasin Limpo (SYL) sad that the tools are important to prepare food to support food security.

“Preparing the food for every citizen of Indonesia is important. This is part of food security. We want to make sure that there would be no issue and hope that the farmers could maximize the tools to support the better, more independent, and modern agriculture,” he said, Sunday (3/1/2021) as in the official statement to Agricom.id.

General Director of Agriculture Infrastructure, Ministry of Agriculture, Sarwo Edhy told the same.

"The tools are the helps from the government and stimulants for the groups to be maximally advantaged just like their functions,” he said.

He also mentioned that the tools would be given to the food plantation, horticulture, plantation, and livestock centers.

“The tools in 2021 are also about to support food estate program,” he said. (A2)
