Agricom.id, JAKARTA – In the commemoration of Hari Kesaktian Pancasila in 2020 through the second Diskusi Kontemporer Nasional (Diskon II) Kearsipan, Head in duty of National Archives or Arsip Nasional (ANRI), M Taufik took every people to advantage the moment as the resurrection of national archives.

“It is inevitability if a big nation and country to provide the archives well. Archives is important for a nation,” he said through video conference, Friday (2/10) as in the official statement to Agricom.id.

He thought that archive is the identity and authentic evidence of a journey of a big nation. It needs the new thought to keep the archives well.

“It needs effort, synergy, and collaboration to keep the archives of the country good,” he said.

He also realized that he could not work alone to keep the archives well. It needs proposal, ideas and should be well packed together with other archive institution both in the central and in other stakeholders.

“This is open information era. We have to work together to enlighten the big jobs in the national archives,” he said.

General Secretary of Ministry of Agriculture, Momon Rusmono as one speaker in the discussion did appreciate that archives is one important thing to advance a country.

“The next generations would not know what the predecessors of our nation did without authentic archives. I do hope that this could open our mind that archives is important,” he said.

For information the goal of an archive is about to present the authentic archive, protect the interest of the country, and the rights of civilization, guarantee the safety and security of archive, the national data, and increase the quality of public service. (A2)
