Agricom.id, BEKASI – Minister of Agriculture, Syahrul Yasin  Limpo did inspection about meat availability and did appreciate the company, PT. Suri Nusantara Jaya for providing the qualified meat stocks.

"PT Suri Nusantara should be the role model for contributing to the country by providing the food for the interest nationally,” he said when looking at the meat stocks in the warehouse of PT. Suri Nusantara Jaya, Bekasi, West Java, Wednesday, (18/3/2020), as in the official statement to Agricom.id.

He thought that heading to the fasting days and Idul Fitri, ministry of agriculture and PT Suri Nusantara would always be there and make sure that the food stocks are available for the people.

"In PT. Suri Nusantara Jaya there are five thousand tons of meat that could be available for the next three months. So we should worry that there would be lack of stocks. If the price gets more expensive, ministry of agriculture would control it,” he said.

Meanwhile the CEO of PT Suri Nusantara Jaya, Diana Dewi ensured that the stocks of meat are in control though Indonesia faces the corona virus.

She also mentioned that facing the virus, she took other companies to take big parts to secure the food stocks in Indonesia.

“I have told that we are ready to support the programs in ministry of agriculture, namely in the food stocks. Ours are ready when we are in fasting days and Idul Fitri,” she said. (A2)
