Agricom.id, JAKARTA - CEO and the Founder Etanee, Cecep Wahyudin said that the making of Work From Home (WFH) as the policy of the central government to stop the spread of corona virus (Covid-19) made the order of agricultural products in Food Marketplace Etanee drastically increase.
"Ever since the policy of WFH runs, the people should limit their activity. But in one side, Alhamdulillah our agricultural products are drastically sold namely in the last five days. They increased 5 – 7 times from the daily trade,” he said, Sunday, (22/3/2020). as in the official statement to Agricom.id.
He thought, the turnover of the agricultural products he sold in the last ten days reached 4 times more. The people mostly ordered local fruits, fish, and hen.
For information, the agricultural products have many advantages and energy to the immunity for human’s body.
“For the mangosteen we could sell it 500 to 1000 kilograms per day and the hen could too,” he said
Though there were increasing orders, he confessed not to worry about the stocks of food. The farmers and the breeder who he develops are in many regions in West Java, such as, Cianjur, Bogor, Sukabumi, and Bandung.
“Our stocks are in 18 regions and 7 cities,” he said.
For information, Food Marketplace Etanee is the digital supply chain platform for the agriculture and food industry that connects the suppliers, logistic infrastructure, and the sellers in online system with the buyers.
The digital platform also takes parts to the people who do independent isolation at home relating to the Covid epidemic. Etanee gives the delivery service for the livestock and agricultural products.
Cecep also suggested that the people should not be panic about the stocks. The people should take lesson from the epidemic which spreads in many countries.
“I want to tell the people not to be panic. We should see that this is the lesson for us to realize that we need to help others, the nearest ones. It is proven that the supports are the local farmers and those who deliver the logistic when we are in blue. Love the local products, love the local farmers, use the application created by the citizens of Indonesia,” he said. (A2)
