Agricom.id, JAKARTA - Ministry of agriculture gave helps to the civil government officers, namely the five-grade and the rests, the free-lancers, the cleaning service, the yard workers,  the security, and the people in 4 villages around the head quarter of ministry of agriculture and UPT which is hit by corona virus (Covid-19). The total helps reached 12.779 packs or about Rp. 2.685 billion and directly handed over by Minister of Agriculture, Syahrul Yasin Limpo (SYL) symbolically in the office of agricultural war room (AWR), Ministry of agriculture, Friday (17/4/2020), as in the official statement to Agricom.id.

"Thank you, the Covid-19 task force for coordinating this event. Insya Allah, what we do today is the kind one. Every kindness in any form is the investment of humanity and social,” he said.

By teleconference joined by 154 UPT in Ministry of agriculture, SYL told that Covid-19 hits not only di Indonesia but many countries in the world.

“This shocks us for no one predicted. But we have to learn from the past, from the crisis which hit Indonesia and we could face them,” he said.

One representative of the cleaning service getting the help, Anton Prastowo thanked Minister SYL and the officers in ministry of agriculture.

"We are grateful and thank you, Minister and dear sirs and miss. Hopefully you have the good health and this ministry could go forward, do lots of contribution to the people,” he who has been working for 10 years in the ministry, said.

Head of Village of Ragunan, Joko Patmono told the same. “One thing for sure, this would enlighten our people. Thank you very much, Minister Syahrul. Alhamdulillah we got 100 packs. We would manage this and distribute to 11 RW, especially to those who deserve it,” he said. (A2)
