Agricom.id, MAKASSAR – Minister of Agriculture, Syahrul Yasin Limpo (SYL) visited Toko Tani Indonesia Center (TTC) at the office of Dinas Ketahanan Pangan South Sulawesi on Jalan Dr. Ratulangi, Makassar, Tuesday (21/4).

“The presence of toko tani or pasar tani is as the stabilizer so that the price remains stable and normally runs,” he said.

He thought that TTIC is the way of ministry of agriculture to ease the buyers to get 11 main commodities within the economic price and in quality.

“We are in cooperation with the online riders. The female who stays at home could use the application, buy from home safely, just like what President Joko Widodo ordered. But if you directly shop or buy in TTIC, of course, follow the health protocol,” he said.

He also reminded the visitors who would buy to obey the health protocol to prevent the spread of corona virus (Covid-19) by taking distance and using masker.

“Happy shopping, don’t forget your distance. Do not be too close. When you get home, wash your hands directly,” he said.

He also mentioned that the vegetables, the rice, and other commodities are available heading to fasting days and lebaran. He hoped that the people should not worry about.

A buyer who lives on Jalan Cendrawasih, Makassar, Helda Desrianti was grateful for shopping in TTIC.

"The vegetable is fresh and in good quality. It is cheaper but some are hardly the same,” she said.

Meanwhile the partner in TTIC Makassar, Syahril said that the vegetable is from Malino, Sinjai, and Enrekang to sell.

"As the partner, I am not full for about two months. But alhamdulillah the people highly respond this. In every single days, many visit TTIC,” he said.

SYL once had conversation with the people and asked for the support to develop the future agriculture.

“We beg your supports, dear sirs. In the future, after the Covid-19 ends, we have the challenge, that is, the drought. We have prepared irrigation, the water reservoirs, waterpumps. By the grace of Allah SWT, we could pass these well,” he ended. (A2)
