Agricom,id, JAKARTA – Ministry of Agriculture did soft launching of anjungan tunai mandiri (ATM) Pertanian Sikomandan in the Army 0501/JPBS Kemayoran, Central Jakarta. The ATM would be used to accelerate the food helps for the people during the fasting days, 2020.

Minister of Agriculture, Syahrul Yasin Limpo accompanied by Chief of Army, General Army Andika Perkasa said that the ATM would be able to help the people who may got food access limit during running the government’s policy because of the pandemic of corona virus (Covid-19).

He thought that this is the same with what President Indonesia, Joko Widodo told to help the food fulfillment for the people who got influences by the Covid-19.

"This is our call. We are here when the nation faces this situation. Furthermore Covid-19 hits many countries,” Syahrul said, Wednesday (22/4/2020), as in the official statement to Agricom.id.

In the chance, he also gave free rice to the people around Gunung Sahari, Kemayoran.

"We give the help through the ATM. It is ATM Pertanian Sikomandan. The people who need help, please come to the Army to take the rice through the ATM," he said.

For information, each man could take rice about 1,5 kg in 12 Army in DKI Jakarta. The rice would be freely given about 1,2 tons per day.

In the same spot, Mulyanto (45) who works as a construction labor was happy by the ATM launching. He hoped that the help could always be to facilitate the poor.

“I am very helpful for the free rice ATM. I would not be confused to buy rice. In addition, these are the hard days,” he said. (A2)
