Agricom.id, BEKASI – There were lines of buyers in Pasar Mitra Tani of Ministry of Agriculture in Kranggan, City of Bekasi, West Java. The lines were tens of meters from the entrance up to the road.
The people bought many kinds of daily needs, such as, vegetables, meat, sugar, and fruits.
Chairman of Indonesian Chambers, Jakarta who is also the CEO of PT. Suri Nusantata Jaya, Diana Dewi said that her side would be ready to help the government to prepare the daily needs during the corona virus (Covid-19) hits, in the fasting days, and lebaran to go.
“In the meat, we always ready to help the government to prepare the qualified meat for the local and the national,” she said in Pasar Mitra Tani and Toko Daging Nusantara, Monday (27/4/2020), as in the official statement to Agricom.id.
She confessed, though there were lines, her side still implemented physical distancing as the protocol of Covid-19. She did hope that the people should stay at home and take the online service to buy (the needs).
“I think, the innovation from ministry of agriculture which is in cooperation with Gojek, Grab, and Blibli Indonesia is good enough to help the people staying at home,” she said.
In the previous, the leap of buyers took place in Toko Tani Indonesia Center (TTIC), Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta. In the first day of fasting days, the visitors reached 865 men. They were from the regular buyers and online rides who took the orders.
Head of Sub Food Distribution Net, Badan Ketahanan Pangan, Ministry of Agriculture, Yudhi Harsatriadi Sandyatma was overwhelm with the buyers leap. He took the security officers to arrange the distance to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
"The buyers leap keeps happening. We should multiply the stocks from the producers and the distributors so that the people could buy what they need. We tighten the security to do physical distance,” he said.
For information, TTIC Pasar Minggu forbids the private four - wheel car to get into TTIC since 17 April. This is about to avoid the piles inside the market.
“We provide time from 10.00 to 14.00 for the online riders based on the operational hours so that the people could stay at home and buy through the application,” he said. (A2)
