Agricom.id, JAKARTA - Ministry of agriculture (Ministry of agriculture) did seminar about Indonesia Agriculture Forum 2020 by video teleconference, Thursday (30/4). The goal is to make the vocation education as the qualified one in agri creator and job seeker.
In the occasion, Minister of Agriculture, Syahrul Yasin Limpo (SYL) did hope that the young generations should get used to the online digital to do creation in agriculture food.
“That is why the vocation should be the answer in the corona virus (Covid-19) pandemic, namely the young generations are hoped to get used to the digital. The education is a process and new challenge for us to face,” he said in the Agriculture War Room (AWR), Ministry of Agriculture, Thursday (30/4/ 2020).
He did hope that every agriculture education both in politeknik pengembagan pertanian (Polbangtan) and the university should make the human resources as the persistent and curious millennial farmers to the knowledge development. Those generations, he continued, would always be in need to maintain the harder competitiveness globally.
“A farmer is the field fighter. The country needs the critical young generations to do everything. The critical would measure someone’s intelligence,” he said.
He also said that to make the generations like that, in the future, the vocation would compete which is supported by the strong mentality and thought. There would be creative and innovative millennial farmers to make the agriculture sector go forward.
In the same spot, Head of Badan Penyuluhan dan Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia Pertanian, Dedi Nursyamsi was proud of the alumni of Polbangtan who have carriers in agriculture.
In the first place, he said, the methods of learning in Polbangtan always follow the nowadays progress within the main base, technology. This system, he continued, would ease the young generations to do the agriculture in digital.
“The most important thing is that they could create the professional, independent and entrepreneur attitude. The alumni of Polbangtan have joined the agriculture start up so far,” he ended his word.
