Agricom.id, LAMPUNG – Minister of Agriculture, Syahrul Yasin Limpo (SYL) did visit work to Lampung Province, Friday (19/06/2020). In the chance, he handed over some helps, such as, kredit usaha rakyat (KUR), the agriculture tools, and machines.

The Minister visited the seeding and cattle feedlot location of PT. Superindo Utama Jaya, Kota Metro, and did Gerakan Percepatan Olah Tanah dan Tanam of paddy by the tools in Sub district of Trimurjo, District of Central Lampung.

“Lampung has good prospect of agriculture and many potentials, such as, the agriculture until the livestock. We would encourage so that the province could increase the productivity to maintain the food needs,” he said.

Meanwhile, General Director of Agriculture Infrastructure, Ministry of Agriculture Sarwo Edhy said that his side has the allocations in Central Lampung.

“There are many allocations of activity from General Directorate of Agriculture Infrastructure to District of Central Lampung in 2020, such as the Rehabilitasi Jaringan Irigasi Tersier (RJIT) covering 300 hectares (ha), 2 units of pump irrigation, and 1 unit of water reservoir. The total allocation for Central Lampung reached Rp 2.092.360.000,” he said, as in the official written statement to Agricom.id.

Not only those, in the work visit, Minister SYL also gave helps, such as, the agriculture insurance within detail, for asuransi usaha ternak sapi (AUTS) reaching Rp 2.681.283.000, and asuransi usaha tani padi (AUTP) reaching Rp 2.809.283.000.

The other helps were KUR from the banks as partners, such as, Bank Mandiri symbolically gave Poniman (cattle feedlot) reaching Rp 200 million, and Tri Rahmad Adi (milling) reaching Rp 75 million

KUR from BNI was symbolically given to Sartono (cattle feedlot) reaching Rp 250 million, and Eko Purwanto (milling) reaching Rp 250 million

Minister SYL also handed over the tools, such as, 4 wheel – tractors which was symbolically accepted by the groups Sumber Makmur in Village of Tempuran, Sub district of Trimurjo, Central Lampung; 2 wheel – tractor which was symbolically accepted by the groups, Karya Tani in Village of Sumber Waringin, Sub district of Trimurjo, Central Lampung; and the water pump which was symbolically accepted by the group, Purwodadi in Village of Purwodadi, Sub district of Trimurjo, Central Lampung.

“The total allocation of the tools in the district reached about Rp 3.399.764.390. within detail, 5 units of 4 wheel - tractors, 28 units of 2 wheel – tractors, 45 units of water pump, 4 cultivators, and 10 hand-sprayers,” he said. (A2)
