Agricom.id, JAKARTA – Ministry of agriculture got Unqualified Opinion or Wajar Tanpa Pengecualian (WTP) from Audit Board of Indonesian Republic. This achievement also means that ministry of agriculture has been four times getting the rank for running the accountable, credible, transparent financial management  based on the government’s account.

The leader of Financial Auditor, Audit Board of Indonesian Rupublic, Isma Yatun said that the Unqualified Opinion was given by the Audit Board based on the inspection report on the financial report in ministry of agriculture in 2019 and the financial report on the financial management and responsibility of the budget 999.07 (for the fertilizer subsidy expenditure) in 2019.

"We thank you, minister of agriculture and the officers for your commitment to encourage the transparent and accountable financial management,” she said in her speech when giving the financial report to ministry of agriculture in the F Hall, Ministry of Agriculture, Tuesday (21/07/20), as in the official written statement to Agricom.id.

She also mentioned that the financial report is about to give opinion on the financial report. It does not particularly reveal the fraud in the financial report.

“But if the auditors find the fraud, deficiency, or miscalculation based on the regulation, namely that could be potential to make loss for the country, it needs to reveal in the financial report,” she said.

She also told that ministry of agriculture should be more creative and could maintain its performance to be the modern and advance one by maximizing the agriculture war room (AWR) which comprehensively provides the food information in Indonesia.

“On behalf of the leaders in Audit Board, Indonesian Republic, we thank for the good communication and constructive synergy between us and every officer in ministry of agriculture that made this process run well,” she mentioned.

Minister of Agriculture, Syahrul Yasin Limpo directly got the Unqualified Opinion report from Auditor Board, Indonesian Republic and said that this is about to realize the qualified, accountable financial report in the ministry of agriculture based on the Government Account Standards and the programs in ministry of agriculture are the hard work from every officer in both institutions.

“The evidence of the success is the Unqualified Opinion report. I am very happy for this. Ministry of agriculture got the fabulous, prestigious award that could develop the level of every officer in our office,” he said.

He also thought, the predicate means that everything which was done hits the target without mal-administration. He told that the financial management runs as same as the work programs.

“Hit the target and the administration should be accomplished,” he said.

He also asked for the Audit Board, Indonesian Republic to be together with his ministry to do financial management so that in the future every deficiency could be improved.

“To the auditors of Audit Board in a whole, we thank you for your suggestion and input when improving the financial report in ministry of agriculture. We do hope, we need lead in the future,” he ended his words. (A2)
